He was predeceased by: his parents, Brendan Sherry and Vera Sherry; his sisters, Marilyn Sherry, Carol MacCormack, Cheryl Newcombe and Angela Lockerby; his brothers-in-law, Fred Cormier, Bruce MacCormack and Jackie Newcombe; his mother-in-law Helen Murkin; and his pet Zeus.
He is survived by: his wife Stacey Joanne Sherry; and his siblings, June Cormier, Margaret Bowness (Mark), George Sherry (April), Tom Sherry (Nancy), Rita Clow (Joe), Mike Sherry (Suzy Brownlee) and Paul Sherry (Darlene). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
