He was predeceased by: his parents, Soledad and Enrique; and his siblings, Enrique, Evald, Hector, Werner, Carolina, Judith and Emma.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Esperanza Aragon of Red Deer, Alberta; his children, Elio Estuardo Schwendener Aragon of Montreal, Oscar Asturo Schwendener Aragon of Guatemala, Edgar Enrique Schwendener Aragon of Montreal, Julio Roberto Schwendener Aragon of Arkansas and Judith Esperanza Schwendener of Red Deer, Alberta; and his siblings, Jaime of Ontario, Enrich of Montreal, Elsa of Montreal and Lily of Guatemala. He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren; and his three great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (6 McMillan Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N5X8).
