She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

“My mother Is Flo Johnston. I had the privilege to spend many hours with Jean and my mother as she was living in the same facility as my Dad "Bud." Jean was constantly in my mother's prayers as was Jeans family. Mom would make sure Jeans har was always nice and she had a special visit as often as possible through their friendship over these many years ever since I was in Junior High school in West Park. Jeans friendship and wisdom were a big reason for my mothers own success and happiness in this life. A truly amazing woman that inspired many in their group. Mother misses her every day and I pray all that loved Jean will find peace and hope in knowing and remembering a life well lived. -Robert Koteles”
