He was predeceased by: his parents, George Klassen and Katherine Klassen; and his son Gregory. He is survived by: his children, Tom (Sue), Kelly (Joann), Wendy (Ross) and Nancy (Shaun). He is also survived by four sisters, one brother and numerous other family members and dear friends.
