He was predeceased by: his son Lloyd Dugan; his parents, Eugene Dugan and Thelma Dugan; and his siblings, Mary Etta Blanchard (Richard 'Dick') of Regina, Saskatchewan, Donald Dugan (Florence) of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and Pat Carrier (Phil) of Williams Lake.

He is survived by: his wife Fern; his sons, Eugene (Ilona) and James (Betty Ann); his grandchildren, Danielle, Shane, Brianne and Brittany; his great grandchildren, Rowe, Oliver, Lucas and Noah; and his siblings, Stanley Dugan (Debbie) of Tisdale, Saskatchewan and Florence Mayerle (Gary) of Tisdale. He is also survived by his sisters and brother-in-law, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
