She was predeceased by: her parents, Arend Spijksma and Hinke Spijksma; and her sister Gay Murphy. She is survived by: her husband Harvey Jackson; her children, Heather of Red Deer, Hal of Hinton and Henry of Calgary; her daughters-in-law, Kerri (Hal) and Jen (Henry); her grandchildren, Avery, Isabelle, Norah and Wyatt; and her siblings, Sybren Spyksma, George Spijksma, Wybren Spyksma, Willy Spyksma and Ann Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, Memorial Donations in Hilda's honor would be a simple act of kindness to the Ronald McDonald House Charity, a charity that supports families seeking vital medical treatment for their sick or injured child, a cause that was close to the Jackson family.
