Harry Kuharchuk Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Kuharchuk of Red Deer, Alberta, who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harry Kuharchuk to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Prokop and Parazka; his stepmother Mary; and his siblings, John, Elizabeth and Alex (April).

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his son Terry (Helen); his grandchildren, Kathrine and Christopher; his siblings, Helena, Katie, Bill and Annie; and his sister-in-law April.

As a long-time member of the Kiwanis Club, he was the Lt. Governor for a term and also worked on many community projects in support of organizations such as the Red Deer Hospital, the Hospice, the Golden Circle, and the Twilight Home Foundation. Harry also served as Chairman of the Red Deer City Recreation Board and on the Red Deer Games Foundation.
