He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Darryl (Danielle) of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Nicole Sloas (Alan) of Chesley, Ontario and Laura McIntyre (Keith) of Vulcan, Alberta; his grandchildren, Dylan, Raelynn Sande, Sophia, Caleb Sloas, Lane and Dustin McIntyre; his great grandchildren, Brynlee and Nixon McIntyre; his siblings, David Sande (Barb) of Sherwood Park, Alberta and Agnus Critchley (Ian) of Spruce Grove, Alberta; and his stepsiblings, Ed Wood and Jackie Harke of Drayton Valley, Alberta. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

For retirement, they purchased a RV and spent 10 years prior to COVID residing in north Florida for the winter and in Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Alberta for the summers.
