He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Ludwig and Anna Ludwig; his brothers, John and Wiebo; his daughter Sue; and his great grandchild Adeline Beingessner.
He is survived by: his children, Peter, Tracy (Brian), Pauline, Dean (Dawna-Lynn) and Karla (Chris); and his siblings, Fritz, Grace, Rene, Mary and Shirley. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
