It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hans-Dieter Richard Filter (Red Deer, Alberta), who passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Filter and Edie Filter; his sister Sylvia; and his son-in-law Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Heidi Filter; his daughters, Petra Dyjur (Lynden) and Diana Bodie (Tyler); his granddaughters, Brittney, Kayla, Sarah, Christine and Amy; his great grandchildren, Marcus, Tyler, Gavin, Reilyn, Scarlett and Greyson; and his sister Ilona Scheurer. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, as well as extended family.

He would be honored to have any charity receive a donation in his name.
