He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen and Walter. He is survived by: his close friend Doris; his children, Kris (Kirsten), Jana (Aleks) and Andrew; his granddaughters, Hazel and Lucy; and his siblings, Jean (Jim), John (Brenda) and Sue (Cindy).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made on Gord's behalf to the Red Deer Tennis Club's Junior Tennis program by sending an e-transferring to [email protected].
