He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius and Charlotte; and his brother Wilhelm. He is survived by: his daughters, Bonnie Sanche (Neal) and Rhonda Cosby (Chad); his grandchildren, Mary, Aedan, Oliver and Tessa; and his siblings, Hilda Porter (Arnold), Dietrich (Shirley), Ulrich (Ulrike) and Erich (Wendy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
