George Goruk Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Goruk and Jennie Goruk; his siblings, John, Metro, Andy, Phillip and Mary Larson; his daughter-in-law Carole; and his grandson Byron.

He is survived by: his wife Katherine; his sons, Dennis, Darrell (Nenita) and Bernie; and his brothers, Peter (Gert) and Nick (Doreen). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

One of his proudest achievements was being inducted into the Canadian Petroleum Hall of Fame in 2016 in recognition of his contributions to the industry as a builder and innovator.
