He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Anderson and Lil Anderson; his father-in-law Chester Sowa; his brothers-in-law, Cam Hamman and Jim Baxter; and his friend Walter Jarrett.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Anderson; his children, Krista Way and Steven Anderson; his granddaughters, Jocelyn Way, Josephine Anderson and Avery Way; his brother Brian Anderson (Cheryl); his mother-in-law Doris Sowa; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Baxter, Susan Hamman, Cathy Wall (Dave) and Anna Sowa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
