He was predeceased by: his father Newman Bryer (Louise Schaab-Bryer); his parents-in-law, Christine Schaab and John Schaab; his brothers-in-law, Fritz Kohler (Agnes) and Harold Donovan (Marlene); his mother-in-law Clara Donovan; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Hillman (Dale), Mary Munro (Doug) and Phil Donovan (Catherine); and his granddaughter Kirsten Denney.
He is survived by: his mother Helen Bryer; his wife Sheila Carlson; his stepdaughters, Sherry Carlson and Monica Sagan (Neil); his stepgrandchildren, Cali, Ella and Noah; his stepson Kevin Carlson (Krista); his stepgrandchildren, Donovan and Cameron; and his siblings, Doreen Bryer (Karl Dittman), Bruce Bryer and Keith Bryer (Glad). He is also survived by in-laws, cousins, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the St. Luke's Anglican Church (4929 54 St, Red Deer, AB T4N2G7). A burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at the Red Deer Alto Reste Cemetery Columbarium.
