As we bid Elaine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Elaine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Ross and Ruth Ross (Doon) of Kitchener. She is survived by: her husband George; her sons, Ian and Keith; her sister Jane; and her brother-in-law Dan Kyba.
If desired, Memorial Donations in Elaine's honour may be made directly to the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra, Camp Kuriakos, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, or to the Augustana University for the Elaine A. (Ross) Nye Scholarship for Teachers training leading to a combined degree of BSc/BEd; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
