It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Kumm of Red Deer, Alberta, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Douglas Kumm to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Kumm and Grace Kumm; and his nephew Justin Kumm. He is survived by: his wife Shelly Nelson-Kumm; his stepchildren, Brandon Nelson and Kyla Nelson; his siblings, Pat Jackson (Bob), Linda Strong Watson (Don), Bruce Kumm (Alice), Terry Kumm (Nancy), Bob Kumm (Lauri) and Greg Kumm (Lyuda); his parents-in-law, Eileen Simpson and Delmer Bodie; and his siblings-in-law, Douglas E. Simpson (Pamela), Shaun Simpson and Angela Simpson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, family members and dear friends.
Doug and Shelly honeymooned in Jamaica; and also made a trip to Hawaii in 2020, before Covid.
