Douglas Bruce Lester Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Bruce Lester (Red Deer, Alberta), born in Drumheller, Alberta, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Agnes "Dorothy" Lester; and his brother Robert Lester. He is survived by: his wife Connie Lester; his children, Shane Lester (Lisa) and Tracy Wirtanen (Kent); his grandchildren, Hannah, Carmen Wirtanen, Brooke and Ava Lester; his father Mel Lester; and his siblings, Ed Lester (Val), Joe Lester (Diane), Ken Lester (Tracy), Jane McKee (Cliff) and Edna Harris (Mike). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to STARS or the MS Society of Canada.
