Delores MacDonald Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2021, at the age of 87, Delores MacDonald of Red Deer, Alberta, born in Leduc, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludwig Schmidt and Lydia Schmidt; her husbands, Bernard Genz and Duncan MacDonald; her brother Ken Schmidt; and her brother-in-law Ed Kokas.

She is survived by: her children, Laura Cavanaugh, Charlotte Watt (Lloyd), Kevin Genz (Donna) and Karen Genz; her grandchildren, Kimberly Nicholas (Craig), Alana Sidor (Russell), Megan Crossey (Mark), Steven Lange, Sheryl Lange, Shelby Lange (Sami), Tyler Halak (Paula), Sonya Halak, Brandon Malo (Christine), Kristina Geeraert and Ryan Geeraert (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Lydia, Bennett, Mikayla, Kenton, Brohden, Padder, Colton and Maggie; her siblings, Roy Schmidt (Mabel) and Carol Kokas; and her sisters-in-law, Myrtle Schmidt and Aileen George. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
