Cyr Joseph Couturier Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cyr Joseph Couturier of Red Deer, Alberta, who passed away on November 21, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Annemarie Beny Couturier; his children, Donald and Leona; his grandson Christopher; his parents, Trefflé and Léona; and his siblings, Guy, Jean-Yves, Jean-Marie, Jeannine and Claudette.

He is survived by: his children, Cyr (Wanda), Marie, Christine (Julian) and Donna; his sisters, Sister Marie-Paule and Jocelyne (Bert); his sister-in-law Elan Gibson; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Kim (Joey), Laura, Meagan (Brendan), Gabrielle (William), Don (Priya), Annalise, Taylor, Solaya and Alex; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Darcy, Chyler, Mina and Jaya.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, Memorial Donations in Cyr's honour may be made directly to a charity of the donor's choice, or by reaching out to someone who needs a friend or buying a warm meal for someone experiencing hardship in memory of Cyr's kind, gentle and generous nature.
