We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2022, at the age of 93, Cornelia Johanna Kemmere (Red Deer, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jacobus Geerts and Adriana Geerts; her children, Myrna (Neil) of High River, AB, Albert (Kathy) of Olds, AB, Bruce (Lori) of Olds, AB and Sandra (Lance) of High River, AB; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Daniel, Angela, Melissa, Stacey, Ashleigh, Sarah, Chelsea, Spencer, Joseph and Sawyer. She was also cherished by two sisters and four brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Olds & District Hospice Society.

“A life well lived, Cora Kemmere was a very special lady. My thoughts are with her family, she was so very proud of them. When my family immigrated to Canada from Holland in 1979- she was one of the first people I remember meeting. She helped my mom so much in those first years and they became wonderful friends. She gave us hand me down banana seat bikes. She was so genuinely kind and I’ll always be grateful for her friendship with my mom and their wonderful Dutch chats!”
