He was predeceased by: his father Dalbert Varney; his grandparents, Amos, Viola Varney, Harry and Alma Patrick; and his uncle Garnet Patrick.
He is survived by: his mother Patricia Varney; his siblings, Sheila and Darren; his significant other Galadriel Olson; and his aunts and uncles, Verna Bannister (Ron), Carmen Varney (Gloria), Ken Patrick (Alison) and Vivian Patrick.
