She was predeceased by: her father Murdo MacKenzie; and her sister Margaret MacKenzie. She is survived by: her husband Doug Nelson; her children, Krista Matthews, Aaron Matthews (Chrystal) and Cheney Matthews; her grandchildren, Tyson Penrod and Cheyenna Penrod; her stepchildren, Joel Nelson (Jamie) and Deirdre Hann (Timothy); her grandchildren, Tristan Nelson, Lucas Nelson, Carrington Hann and Leighton Hann; her mother Florence MacKenzie; her sisters, Donna Robinson (Clay), Carol Henderson (Gary), Linda Fauth (Rob) and Christina Klassen (Mike); and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Webster and Brenda Schimke. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous other family members and friends.
