He was predeceased by: his siblings, Tex and Gerri Amiss. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughter Brenda; his granddaughter Kelli (Trevor Walline); his great grandchildren, Katie, Gus and Sophia; his granddaughter Kristin Matier (Trevor Kvale); his great grandchildren, Austin Pressey (Allison Baird) and Trinity Pressey; his stepchildren, Dylan Kvale, Addy Kvale and Todd Matier; his son Kevin; his grandson David (Jodi); his great grandchild Natalie; his son Adam McDermott (Camisha); his grandson Mauricio; his daughter Barb (Lorne Cox); his grandchild Jordy (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Harper, Hudson and Janelle (Adam Clark); his brother Red McDermott; and also Evan.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sunnybrook United Church (12 Stanton St, Red Deer, AB T4N0B8).
