With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Eleanor Edith Balzer of Red Deer, Alberta, who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Carolyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carolyn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Greg; and her brothers, Bob and Gary. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey, Jason and Jeremy Balzer (Megan); her grandchildren, Nathan and Ava; and her sisters, Karen, Judy, Linda and Arlene.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (6 McMillan Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N5X8).
