He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Horobetz and Annie Horobetz; his siblings, Charlotte Lowrey, Rudy Horobetz and Florence Bouchard; his brother-in-law Gordon Hamill; and also, Alfred and Verna Hamill.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel; his children, Donna Smith (Jeffrey), Dwayne, Maureen Riehl and Alaine Martin (Fred Biberdorf); his siblings, Helen Raymond, Ernie Horobetz (Adele), Russ Horobetz (Delores) and Rita Kruger (Al); and his sister-in-law Heather Hamill. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
