Basil Allen Durrant Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Basil Allen Durrant (Red Deer, Alberta), born in Eastend, Saskatchewan, who passed away on November 25, 2024 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Basil Allen Durrant to pay them a last tribute.

Though Basil may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Basil touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Durrant and Dorothy Durrant; and his siblings, Darryl Durrant and Gwen Basso. He is survived by: his children, Nola Idland (Brian) and Jason Durrant (Ce-Lynne); his grandchildren, Kari (Brad), Karsten (Natasha), Curtis (Courtney), Kelsey (Shaun) and Jake (Jessa); and his sister Margaret McPhee of Innisfail, Alberta.. He is also survived by his eight great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Living Stones Church (2020 40 Ave, Red Deer, AB T4R OT5 T4ROT5).
