She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwards and Emilija; her husband John; her brother Uldis; her sister-in-law Irene; and her daughter-in-law Sandra.

She is survived by: her children, Maris (Annette) and Ilze (Bryon); her grandchildren, Mitchell (Ruth), Deanna (Vincent), Thea, Celina, Steven (Stephanie) and Amy; her siblings-in-law, Juris (Baiba) of Riga, Latvia and Ann; and her nieces, Carol (Jude), Diane (Bill) and Brenda (Sanders). She is also survived by great niece and nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Red Deer Regional Health Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
