We bid farewell to Joel Kenneth Sveinson (Red Deer County, Alberta), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 13, 2025 at the age of 39. Joel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Kenneth Sveinson. He is survived by: his parents, Dan Sveinson and Denise Sveinson; his wife Suzie Mercier; his daughters, Skyler, Summer and Layla; his brother Landon Sveinson (Aida); his nephew Leo; his sister Denae Marz (Rick); his nieces and nephews, Madison and Ethan; and his grandparents, Marie Sveinson, Murl and Maudie Hill. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and just so, so many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the CrossRoads Church (38105 Range Rd 275, Red Deer County, AB T4S2L9).
Joel gave the gift of life by donating his organs so that others might live on. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made toward RESP's for Joel's girls, Skyler, Layla and Summer.
