He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Peters (Sueko Kanashiro) and Jack Peters; his stepfather Alan Low; his brother Gregory Peters; his grandparents, Kami (Teruya), Yasataro Kanashiro, Pete Peters and Emily; his brother-in-law Eric Parsons; and his parents-in-law, Norman and Florence Parsons (Major).
He is survived by: his wife Mabel Peters (Parsons); his sons, Jean-Norman and Garland Peters; his sisters, Jackie Peters (Ronald Kees), Jodi Sharuga and Dawna OnDrik (Steven); his half-sister Emily Peters; and his brothers-in-law, Daniel Parsons (Josie) and Sidney Parsons (Ada). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
