He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ornan Aziel Stevenson and Lulu Abigail Brim; and his siblings, Ronald Brim, Elaine Low, Ray Melvin, Alan Brim, Janyce Erickson and Joyce Tate.

He is survived by: his daughter Julianne; his wife Shirley Irene Sallenbach; and his children, Karen Westenskow (Milan), Greg (DeeDee), John (Wendi), Jim (Shelly), Marilyn Jacobsen (Adam) and Julie Lewis (Joe). He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
