She is survived by: her husband Standy Brathwaite (Checker); her sons, Sean Simpson (Kristin) of Fort Erie, ON and Trey Brathwaite of Raymond, AB; her parents, Hugh Simpson and Carol Simpson of Fort Erie, ON; and her siblings, Cherie Simpson-Barber of Fort Erie, ON and Hugh Jr. Simpson (Laura) of Raymond, AB. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
