He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his parents, Nicholas Gordychuk and Dora Gordychuk; and his sisters, Olga Duliba (Marshall) and Mary Solomon (Morris).

He is survived by: his children, Audrey Hurst (Don), Norman Gordychuk (Joanne), Valerie Gordychuk (Rod), Michele Baxandall (Steve) and Barry Gordychuk; his grandchildren, Danielle, Dylan, Shelby, Rachel and Taylor-Lynne; and his sister Josie Caruk. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Alzheimer Society of Alberta.".
