He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben and Mary; and his siblings, Irene Norcross, Jack and Gene.
He is survived by: his wife Cecilia; his children, Colleen Frederick (Richard), Rita Kunnas (Floyd), Debbie Holt, Ronald (Aurora), Carole Oduro (Enoch) and Allan Jr. (Wendy); his grandchildren, Colin, Richard Jr. (Amy), Paul (Jessica), Adam, Derek, Leona (Steve), Jacob, Nathan (Phoebe), Jeffery, Kristen, Kendra (Doug) and Alicia (Darren); his stepgrandchildren, Kurtis (Liana), Kelly (Randi) and Tricia (Michael); and his siblings, Rita Whitehill, Bruce (Rebecca), Rueben, Juanita Purin (Fred) and Jim (Sylvia). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren.
