He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Duxbury; his daughter Betty Lou Motz; his parents, Roy Grier and Eva Nelson; his stepfather Emory Nelson; and his siblings, Hugh Grier and Jean MacDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth, Richard, Carol-Ann and Sandra Ford (Dennis); and his grandchildren, Kevin Ford (Nicola), Michelle Andres (Trent), Bryan Ford (Loreal), Curtis Ford, Lila Ford, Amanda Schmah (Mike), Pamela Engel (Luke), Marie Peterson (Matthew), Austin Grier, Jordan Grier, Kristin Jeffs (Ryan), Jocelyn Talvio (Nick), Joshua Grier (Levonne), Amy Sirett (Kagan), Benjamin Graham, Jenna Graham and Jesse Graham (Kierra). He is also survived by thirty two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
