He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Catherine; his brothers, Arnold and Gilbert; and his brothers-in-law, Adam Fischer and Joe Hummel.
He is survived by: his wife Marge; his daughter Laura (Glen Sieben); his grandchildren, Danyn and Logan; his child Connie (Irvin Deck); his grandchildren, Ryan and Amy; his son Colin (Candy); his grandchildren, Carter, Jarret and Isaac; his siblings, Adeline Fischer, Loretta Hummel and Gabe (Angie); and his sisters-in-law, Ida Fleck and Dorothy Fleck. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
