He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Ganser and Ada Ganser (Lind); his stepfather George Lind; his mother-in-law Irene Trenerry; and his brothers-in-law, Dallas Trenerry and Leo Weinkauf.

He is survived by: his wife Wendy Trenerry; his daughter Wanda Chartrand (Marc); his grandchildren, Lauren and Cameron; his son Wes Ganser (Nicole); his grandchildren, Kennedy, Carter, Mason and Colson; his sisters, Linda Weinkauf (Louie Banack) and Judy Rogers (Lyle); his nieces and nephews, Katelyn Angeltvedt (Cole) and Carly Axley (Cody); his sister Terry Deck (Ken); his nephew Tyler; his father-in-law Wilf Trenerry; and also Ross Trenerry (Debbie). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
