It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pete Froland (Provost, Alberta), born in Metiskow, Alberta, who passed away on November 24, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ingvold Froland and Thea Froland; his wife Sally; and his siblings, Pearl, Selma (George), Thelma (Don), Clarence, Lester (Elsie), Bernice (Tom), Joan (Ray) and Bud.

He is survived by: his children, Sherry Laing (Kevin), Sandra Poulin (Joe), Sheila Raher (Ron), Peter Froland (Elizabeth) and Russel Froland; his grandchildren, John, Heidi (Dwain), Sierra (Brennen), Cody (Kara), Lanny (Nicole), Andrew (Jacy), Shelby (Marcel), Samara (Logan), Devon (Jacqueline) and Heather (Devin); his great grandchildren, Morgan, Emma, Nathaniel, Kaidenze, Kaisen, Jaxin, Ava, Claira, Isaac, Thomas, Forrest, Sarah and Gwen; his close friend Gloria Nelson; his sister-in-law Joan Froland; and his cousin Carole Melin. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
