Steven Samson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Samson (Ponoka, Alberta), who passed away on October 22, 2020 at the age of 43. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Samson and Arlene Samson; his brother Kirk Samson; his grandparents, Frank, Jennie Cardinal, William and Philomena Samson; his uncles, Clifford, Wayne, Chester Cardinal and Billy Swampy; his aunt Rema Chief; his cousin Wolfgang Rain; his sister-in-law Terranda Samson; his great-great-grandparents, Jacob Bull and Ahpiciciw; and his great-grandparent Isabelle Smallboy.

He is survived by: his close friend Trista Ward; his daughters, Tressa Soosay (Hector) and Mena Samson; his grandchildren, Kurtis, Mia and Ava; his siblings, Derek, Kyle Samson, Darren Christopher Cardinal, Duanna Johansen and Kayla Samson; and his aunts and uncles, Glenda Swampy, Janice Starlight, Cynthia Swampy, Tannis Swampy (Jason), Wendy Cardinal, Norine Cardinal (Arthur Smiley), Derwin Swampy, Leon (Julie) and Leslie Cardinal (Marilyn). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
