With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rodney Edward Hamilton (Ponoka, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2024 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rodney Edward Hamilton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hamilton and Bernice Hamilton; his niece Maureen Geisler; his nephew Calvin Anderson; his great-niece Ashtyn Anderson; and his brother Bob Hoskins.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sharon Anderson (Lorne), Judy Fowler (Steve) and Laurie Hamilton; his nieces and nephews, Laine Anderson (Krista), Alden Anderson, Jason Hamilton and Lynette Marchesi (Matt); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Haylee, Sydney, Shaey, Hulaina, Chas, Alex, Amelia, Toni-Lynn, Ivan, Samuel, Soyer and Jayla; and also, Lexi, Danika, Emberly and Ava.
In his honour, although he was never able to enlist in the military, it was his dream but medically he could not join, we believe Rod would love to have any donations in his memory go to the Last Post Fund or the Canadian Legion of your choice to support the veterans of all ages in our Canadian communities for serving our country.
