It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Leavitt of Ponoka, Alberta, born in Cardston, Alberta, who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd and Garda; and his siblings, Elroy, LaFaye, Audrey, Phyllis and Irene.

He is survived by: his wife Kay; his sister Gail Schellenberg of Calgary; his daughter Christine Leavitt of Squamish; his grandchildren, Danielle of Red Deer, Maddison of Squamish, Courtney of Squamish and Robert Corbin (Samantha) of Ponoka; his daughter Julie Leavitt of Red Deer; his grandchildren, Grayden and Sierra; his son Mike Leavitt (Jessica) of Ponoka; his grandchildren, Caleb and Adalynn of Ponoka; his stepson David Frook (Treena); his stepgrandchildren, Chris and Scott of Lacombe; his stepson Harvey Frook (Stacey); his stepgrandchildren, Seth and Griffin of Ponoka; and also, Mildred Workman of Hillspring and Grant Leavitt (Marion) of Calgary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
