It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Thompson (Ponoka, Alberta), who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Ralph Thompson; his parents, Dave Louden and Clara Brandston; his grandparents, Walter Thompson and Christina Thompson; his former wife Edith Thompson; and his brothers, Gordon, Sidney, Henry, Neyaskweyahk Okimaw Kamik and Ermineskin.
He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Walter (Wendy), Gordon (Pauline), Douglas (Barb), Gerald Thompson, Barrie (Sarah), Dave, Darryl (Doreen), Jason (Alyssa) and Renee Makinaw (Clifton); his adoptive children, Vern, Arlette, Vincent Saddleback (Mel) and Jerry Roasting; his siblings, Ron, Gary Louden, Gina Martin and Janice Louden; and his grandson Shawn Thompson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
