With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Monica Soosay (Ponoka, Alberta), who passed away on May 21, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Marcel Soosay; her children, Lillian, Linda, John, George, Daniel, Ivan, Edwin and Jensen; her parents, George Peigan Sr. and Isabelle Green; and her siblings, Agnes Peigan, Helen, Mary, Rena Saddleback and George Peigan Jr. Wake Jim.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Patricia Soosay (Ted Alta), Violet Soosay, Gilda Soosay, Horvath (Dan), Al Soosay, Myers Soosay, Keith Soosay, Eugene Soosay, Joice Morin, Sharon Tailfeathers (Rick), Ralph Peigan and Malcolm Peigan; and her grandchildren, Kurt, Jocelyn, Ann Marie, Nora, Bobby, Trena, Colin, Colleen, Laurie Dawn Soosay-Wolf, Shannon Soosay-Wolf, Justice Soosay-Wolf, Chase Soosay-Wolf, Heather Soosay, Cory Soosay, Cheyenne Soosay, Kim Soosay, Alecia Soosay, Joseph Soosay, Claude Soosay, Revena, Amber, Carissa Northwest, Charity Northwest, Shaylene Northwest, Madison Dale Soosay, Monica Soosay, Jacqueline, Erica Soosay, Marcel Soosay, Tyler Soosay, Ivan, Dana, Faith, Kayla, Cyrus Soosay, Calvin, Denise, Adrian, Jolie and Joey. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
