Lloyd Birney Obituary
We bid farewell to Lloyd Birney of Ponoka, Alberta, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 8, 2024 at the age of 89. Lloyd touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lloyd shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lloyd farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Birney and Hester Birney; and his sisters, Miriam and Pearl. He is survived by: his brother Lester (Gayle); and his nieces, Laurene (Glen), Ruthie (Jeff), Evie (Gordon) and Louella (Glen). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
