She is survived by: her husband Richard; her children, Rick (Melissa), Carolyn, Wendy (Kris) and Rastko (Maija); her brother Roy (Linda); her niece Jenny; and her grandchildren, Levi (MacKenzie), Reece, Emma-Leigh, Piper, Marcus, Luka, Jaida and Kiara.

Memorial donations in Laurie's honor can be made to the Schizophrenia Society in Red Deer.
