We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2024, at the age of 83, John Astley of Ponoka, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Astley and Marguerite Astley; his siblings, Reece and Yvonne (Babe); his son Shane; and his grandson Ricky.

He is survived by: his brother Miles.

“I worked with Jack in the Hinton area and visited with him and Babe at there place. I was sorry to learn of his passing as I would stop in to see him in Innisfail. Always enjoyed his company and humor, he will be missed. I am sure he is in a better place now my prayers are with his grand daughter and family. Take care, Peter Harris”
