He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; his parents, Josef Sejdl and Anna Sejdl; his daughter Donna Gail; his son-in-law Ken Mantai; his grandson Dennis Clark; his great grandchild Trenton Mantai; his sister Helen Evelyn; and his brothers-in-law, Albert Gartner and Myron Dean.

He is survived by: his children, Diane Draeger (Ted), Brian Sejdl, Leola Mantai, Jolene Seely (Regan), Joane Sande, Terry Sejdl and Kevin Sejdl (Meagan); his grandchildren, Donna, Angela (Kane), Jennifer (Jim), Lindsey (Matt), Kim, Bradley (Marsha), Craig (Angela), Marcie (Ross), Alycia, Matthew, Tyler (Nicole), Melodie, Spencer, Melissa (Stephan), Christina (Vince), Shannon, Michael (Jessica), Glendale, Dustin and Kyle; and his sister-in-law Bev Dean. He is also survived by thirty-nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
