He was predeceased by: his daughter Terri Buffalo; and his grandparents, John, Abbie Simon, Jim Louis and Annie Soosay Crane.
He is survived by: his children, Darren Simon (Alana), Justin Simon, Lindey Buffalo, Thea Simon (Gaven) and Delorna Buffalo-Makinaw (Craig); his grandchildren, Tryon, Teylynn, Tralen, Tziyon, Tyleigh, Jayda, Aleiha and Jayon; his great grandchild Azarius White-Simon; and his siblings, Harley Simon, Hubert Simon, Colin Simon, Dion Simon (Shannon), Dale Simon (Maryanne), Betty Simon, Ernestine Saulteaux (Floyd), Anne Wesley, Al Weinhandl and Wayne Moonias. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
