It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Evelyn Girling of Ponoka, Alberta, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Irene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Irene farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Girling (Karen), Sandra Gamble and Brenda Girling; her grandchildren, Toby Smith (Josh), Tammy Woelk (Colin), Katy Woit (Steve), Cody Brouilette (Brandi), Tory Brouilette and Tyler Brouilette; and her sisters-in-law, Ada Ashton and Betty Ashton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
