Ilona Hagglund Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ilona Hagglund of Ponoka, Alberta, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Hjalmar Salo and Saima Sofia Salo (Paulasaari); her siblings, Carl Hjalmar, Vilho August (Vil), Veikko Armas (Vic) and Ilmi Mary Elizabeth; her half-sister Irene Lydia Kyllikki; her nephew Trent Hoyem (Ketty); her brother Vic; her brother-in-law Ivar Hoyem (Ron); and her sons, Dale and Byron.
